Superheroes, a trampoline and few balloons…hours of fun!

Now the weather is getting better and that next week most children haven’t got school (half term…again?!) I wanted to share a super easy, fun activity to do with them if you are lucky enough to have a trampoline in your back garden (or know anyone who has one!) We did this a couple of weeks ago and all, boys and girls, were excited and involved from the beginning to the end.

To get started, we blew all the balloons in the room upstairs and then, when they were all ready, instead of using the common method of taking them down using the stairs (that would have taken a really long time…maybe not a bad thing if you are trying to keep them busy!), one of them was in charge of throwing them through the window while the others tried to catch them and brought them to the trampoline. Must say quite a few never made it to the trampoline so prepare to blow up few extras if you go for this method of transport. Once we had all balloons in the trampoline, all kids got their superhero outfits on and jump/fly around. When they got bored of playing with balloons, they started popping them by jumping on top of them.
