Cake ideas for Valentine's

KISS ME CAKE

These little kisses are made with some pearl dust and a DIY stencil! BAM!

Take your cake out of the fridge and lay your stencil on top. Dip your dry paintbrush right in to the pearl dust and start “painting” with it, within your stencil. (I varied up my lips to make it look more “real”, so for some I painted a thicker layer of pearl dust and for some I left it thinner.) Once your stencil is filled in, use both hands to lift it, parallel to the cake (in case any extra dust is on the stencil, so it doesn’t fall on the cake!).

ARROW THROUGH THE CAKE!

   You will need:
    two bamboo skewers
    red cardstock
    felt heart stickers
    scissors
    glue
paint if you want to add detail to the arrow

You made a few stripes on the skewers but you can’t really tell because i made them too light, so i would use bright colors and add more of them! add on the heart stickers for the tip of the arrow. (these are peel and stick so one on each side, no glue needed.) cut 2 pieces of some card stock into one of those arrow shapes and glue them to the other bamboo skewer. you can add some little cuts to create the fringe look. now puncture that cake!
